Hand Embroidery Collection

A few years ago an old shoe box was passed down to my mother, who got it from her mother, who got it from her sister.....

It was just a common box.  Until you opened it and found it filled with old brown butcher paper.  And as I opened each piece of paper, I found original hand drawn embroidery patterns.  When I had them all layed out, there were over 100 of them.

I discovered that the drawings were dated between 1927 and 1939, and were created by four different women: Annie, Helen, Lena and Sarah.  They were in my family four generations ago, and although I have never met them, I have loved restoring their faded lines, and seeing their stitches live on.
