Cotton Fields Quilt Pattern - Printed Instructions

When I found a collection of fabric called Ruby by Bonnie & Camille, I instantly knew I wanted to use this new modern collection to make an old traditional quilt. I love the finished result. It looks like a quilt that was made in the 1930s from grandma's old fabrics, however, it is fresh and new.

I used a very old traditional quilt block, and enlarge it to 15". I constructed the quilt in the same manner that they would have done 100 years ago. I created my template pieces from stiff cardboard, traced each of the pieces onto 14 different fabrics, and hand-cut them apart. I loved this process, and the final result is timeless.

The finished quilt size is 90" x 105", making it a large queen-size quilt.
